My home's 22 year old master bath's Passport Ensemble Bath spa-tub had been giving me trouble for a couple of years. In short, the air/water pump was intermittently failing to start or only staying on for a few minutes when it did operate. This late summer I vowed to figure out the problem before the snow started flying here in Minnesota. After googling the manufacturer's name I alarmingly determined the company was long out of business. I began to get worried and was seeing $ for the repairs and/or tub replacement. After having both a plumber and an electrician visit we thought we narrowed the issue to be electrical, specifically the Sensatron control box gadget. I then continued looking on-line for companies that maybe had experience, or at least mentioned my tub's name in their website. Low and behold I came across a company far from Minnesota, in Michigan! I sent a rather extensive e-mail outlining my dilemma to the website. Very soon after I received a reply and advice from Jeff from their staff. We then together nailed down the problem though a couple more e-mails and a phone call or two. Jeff had the needed replacement control box and shipped it to me. My electrician came back one final time to swap-out the faulty box. Jeff is a true professional and without his experience we would still be sitting in a bubble-less spa tub. Thanks Jeff !!! Terry S. Jeff did what none of the previous 4 companies I called could do! He solved my problem! I made the mistake of looking for "Spa/Hot Tub Sales" when I did my search for repairs. I didn't realize that companies who SELL hot tubs, even though they may have a service department, doesn't mean they know how to MAINTAIN a hot tub! I hired 4 different, highly rated companies, whom each sent their service technicians to my house. It cost me over $500 in service fees. My problems kept getting worse and worse, as each new Technician disconnected one more thing or another. FINALLY, the last sales company recommended that I call Jeff. He is a miracle worker who knows his stuff inside and out! My hot tub is now healthy to use again and we enjoy it nightly! Don't bother with places that SELL the tubs...go to Jeff who knows how to MAINTAIN and REPAIR them! Susan |

I have known Jeff at Spa Tec since 1994 when we purchased our first used hot tub from him. The relatively few times we've had mechanical issues over the past twenty years have proven Jeff's knowledge of spas, he has always immediately and correctly diagnosed the problem and had the parts with him to repair it. Also our well water is a bit tricky to keep at a neutral pH so early on Jeff was so helpful to me while I learned how to deal with it. And if he can assist me over the phone without having to come out he does so, he is VERY CUSTOMER ORIENTED going the extra mile. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Jeff at Spa Tec without reservation. When looking for a new spa cover, we stumbled upon Spa Tec, and are so glad we did! The other companies we checked with would order one, but we had to supply measurements, model, etc. When I called Spa Tec, Jeff came out and measured, checked out our setting and was able to assure us that he worked directly with a company in the local area that would make the cover to his specifications for our climate in Michigan. We felt much more confident that we would be getting the best product for our money. And while measuring, he provided us with information on sanitizing, chlorinating, etc. It was great to work with someone that was not a hot tub salesman, but who works with all hot tubs and is not bias. And did I mention Jeff came back and installed the new cover and disposed of our old cover. We will continue to do business with Spa Tec and highly recommend them to anyone with a hot tub.
